Our Dogs

Here at Mystiqivew, my dogs belong to a much loved family environment. I feel it is important that the border collie is not left to its own devices. This is an active breed and it is important that they are provided with activities to keep their keen abilities focused on activities other than destruction.

Mia (AKA Turdelle) has lived with me since she was two and a half weeks of age as a favour to a friend. This girl is like a cat in dog's clothing. If there is a lap to be had, she will climb into it and snuggle into you.

Mia has had two litters here at Mystiqview. Her son "Blue" can be seen below. She will have her final litter in 2012 to a stunning Black/White boy.

What else would you call a red head in Australia other than "Blue" ?

Blue is the boy I kept from the 2009 litter. He is a gentle teddy bear who loves to be under feet and sometimes into mischief.

At the beginning of his show career, he has come home with two baby puppy of breed. One with competition, the second under an international judge. Blue has also started strong in 2010 winning Minor of Breed on 30 January. He will be slow to mature, but the journey is strong for this man.

Blue is has now sired two litters to date, he has proven to throw his strong red colour and a good percentage of female puppies.

He is available at stud only to SELECT bitches

Mystiqview Fightn Chance (Pepe)

DNA TNS: CLEAR (via parentage)

"Pepe" was named for one of my all time favourite cartoons. Although she is female, she looks like the cat that walked under the paint tin.

After a difficult start to life, Pepe is hopefully the fighting chance back to something promising. She has personality plus and a devil may care attitude.

Border Collie Club Qld Open Show February:
Pepe's debut into the show world saw her receive "Baby Puppy in Show".
While the only female in her class. She did beat her opposite. Not bad for her first day out!

Her second day out, Pepe topped it up with Puppy In Group at Oakey Show in March 2011.

At 10 months of age, she is now a Multi In Class in Group Winner
